Eversince Han Geng was a little kid, he had been training martial arts. He was a very devoted student, and belonged to the best in his class. He won more than several competitions. But as he grew older, he saw new goals appear. Martial arts was no longer the only thing he lived for. Han Geng discovered acting. Of course, he loved to be in school-plays, but growing older and wiser, he discovered the possibility of becoming an actual actor. He started taking up drama classes and eventually went to acting school.
After his first year he began to explore more possibilities and he discovered he would get better opportuninities abroad. And after he finished his school, he went to Japan, against the wishes of his mother. But Han Geng already made preperations. He had taken Japanese classes and saved enough money for the plane and a small flat in Kyoto.
In Japan he went to every audition he could get to. From big movie roles to small CM castings. But because he travelled so much by train, he quickly ran out of money to pay his rent with. He was forced to look for a side-job, loosing his confidence of ever getting a big role in a movie or drama. But he wouldn't give up. He took a cleaning job at Iwa Kouten, a mental facility. But just for the time being, untill he would make name as an actor.
